James Williams, singer of NYHC band Maximum Penalty has just dropped a video of the first single off of his upcoming record. The song’s called “Don’t Let Go” and offers a whole different kind of sound than what we’re used to from Williams.
Aside from singing in Maximum Penalty Williams has earned his stripes drumming for Nausea and is currently hitting the skins in old school NYHC band The Wilding Incident, alongside Lord Ezec aka Danny Diablo and Sascha Jenkins. “Don’t Let Go” however is more on a laidback dub-step/dance vibe..
All music and lyrics, production, programmimg, mixing and mastering was done by Williams himself. “Don’t Let Go” will appear on his first full length solo album “Hard-Cord To The Dance Floor” dropping in December 2015.
